There are automatic telephone exchanges located at Aba and
Umuahia. Furthermore, telephone subscribers in the state can now dial
any part of the world from Aba and Umuahia. The state is well served by
the Nigerian Postal Services (N I POST), sub-post offices and postal
agencies.
Also, a modern communication system connects Abia State with all other states and the outside world. Nigeria Telecommunications Corporation (NITEL) provides twenty-four hours automatic telephone exchange services in form of telex and fax, in addition to telephone services in all parts of the state. |
